it's a kind of world that's not a world, just the pieces. so the last look isn't the last. or maybe it is. so you came back. it was here all the time. right here for you. the beauty, condensed, like a gold ring in a desert, or all summer evenings rolled into one, repeated, as if nothing had changed, even though greyer. all you wanted, needed. it wasn't a word, or a place, but a word in a mirror hidden. your face..
