He falls
but never to the depth.
Falls, the shadow,
across her face,
like the moon's blemish.

Alone, I know not where I am.
The world is false as water.
It echoes back the heart’s  desire.
Love burns in changes of the moon
.

maybe words are false as water, not the world :-)

could it be that the words were true...until the one listening to them made them false?

and if words can be true or false, what about their absence, the refusal to utter them? can this also be true or false?

unending questions :-)

i wish you a lovely sunday, B!

er..yes? why do i get the feeling this is a trick question? :-)

But yes, i guess being silent can be "true" just as it can be a betrayal or false. And then there can be another kind of 'absence' in one's words, as one speaks. Is that what you meant? don't get you.

Keep well,
