"Don't worry, my friend, I've got you as firmly as if you were a sack of turnips. But you, make sure that you do your guide's work properly... Don't send me walking into cow-shit."

i guess some people want to be cheated all over again... but pinocchio is such a sad story, i have never liked it...

Ah, roxanne, you never did like the long-nosed one!

Yes! To be cheated is still to be in some sort of consideration, I guess.

oh no, here you are completely wrong, mr. b! i was in love with Cyrano when i was young - and i find Gerard Depardieu very sexy, despite his so-called ugliness :-)
(and the fact that i don't like blond hair)

Somehow I doubt it. Like the fox, you are not to be trusted, Miss Roxanna

Turnips,b? Couldn't there be something tastier in there? Pastries? Those are lightweight...but I guess turnips have a longer shelf life. But still, not very delicious. ;)

A sad story Roxana? The end isn't so bad. The whole thing reminds me of life.

er..n, I didn't chose the words..it's a quote from...any guesses? (no googling or cheating!)

Yes, a wonderful film and a great play.

But no, now that I think about it..the nose is Kashmiri and turnips , if I'm not mistaken, is used in a famous, a defining, Kashmiri dish.

hi :-)

the fox and the cat, b??? hmm i am afraid to ask - are you planning to open a private zoo?!

and what are you doing there so late anyway

billoo said...

No, just shut one down! :-)
(sorry,sorry, couldn't resist)

Had to pick my sister up at 4:45 in the morning..so: was up. I'm half dead now and still have a class to 'do' in the afternoon. Do either of you want to make a guest appearance? How good is your public economics? Go on, what are friends for?

danke.

B.

thank you, but i wouldn't want to disturb your students... of course the theacher is always un-disturb-able :-)

i don't like talks about closing-down ...

I don't like lots of things as well, roxana. Hmm . :-(
Guess that's why blogworld has seemed so appealing -because it isn't a world.

It's becoming torturous, though.

How as your trip? good? Or are you still there?

Keep well,

Chalid.

Roxana said...

well Chalid, sorry, i don't think you've got a real interest in my trip or my wheareabouts :-)

so yes, i am still there, in that blogworld which isn't a world.

oh, okay.

Hostility?

You two are scaring me a little.

Ooh ooh b...am I the sneaky fox or the tricky cat? And you must be the Puppetmaster. Just a guess.

You're going away? :(. Ok, I expected as much. One more empty place. Hope all goes well for you. It's a big world.

hi, f, good to hear from you!
(sorry b, it seems that the fox and the cat - i am not sure either of who is who - have started to talk here in your yard, now what else is there for you to do except leaning back and smile? :-)

what hostility? nooo :-)
i was just upset that b wants to close down again and thinks that the blogging world is not a world, as if people who speak and act here are less real than real people and friends here are of less importance. who is to say what is more real? but, if he thinks so, than i think it is true for him, and there is nothing else i or others can say. so you are right, "one more empty place"...

Hi r, So good to hear from /you/. I think being unreal is much better than being real. I'm just going to pretend that b doesn't really want to leave. And that instead of referring to us as two selfish, ugly creatures, that he said adieu Siren and Mare. Lovely goddesses who've shared your innermost parts. Thank you for the chats.

:-)

yes let's pretend that :-)
