the return
white white white aalike
aaa a boundary in death advancing
that is our life, aa that's love,
aaaa line upon line
breaking in radiance, so soft-so dim
aaa ly glaring...
you turn, again. but what if you find yourself not quite your old self, looking slightly askew at what was deeply familiar? into darkened mirrors for what is lost. the silence between your words noted, held against you. there is no betrayal like the betrayal of one's voice. how many more times will you look at your watch, the hands, like your soul, moving in opposite directions, in a widening angle: time of arrival; time of departure.
time, time is the space between me and you, just between us. solace of winter sun. all that is human is frail. solstice, the north that runs through our blood, runs through us, like magnetic grey, tugging at our sleeves. retrace your steps to find oneself, oneself. no more. none the less.

{haha}
is it about your watch, then ? :-P
no, what i actually wanted to say is that, strangely, i had contemplated to write about this: "but what if you find yourself not quite your old self, looking slightly askew at what was deeply familiar?" for my first-snow post, yet gave up the idea, i felt too absorbed in the magical joy of snow yesterday :-)
"{haha}"
such restrained laughter? you must get rid of the brackets!
yes, much better to enjoy the snow that 'contemplating' writing about it! Did you make a snowman? I wonder if snowmen differ across cultures or is there some sort of universal snowman? sorry, just been reading some awful tosh: ..text, ontological grounding of the same..difference of the 'other' is not really 'difference'. Man, and I thought *I* was pretentious! ;-)
anyway, all was resolved when i closed 'the text' to allow it (in a non-violent way) to be the text to be alone with its own radical subjectivity.
Nope, i don't have a watch! which is why i find it so hard to keep time (you just knew there had to be at least one awful joke in my comment, didn't you?!)
Take care,
b.
I'm puzzled. As far as I can make out you're still in Lahore. I looked at the weather in Lahore. It looks boringly consistent. Daytime:sunny, blue sky EVERY DAY.
Night-time: clear skies EVERY NIGHT.So, what's all this about 'white' and 'winter sun??
(BTW, if you're aiming to land at Heathrow any time soon,it's closed! But maybe it'll open again, if the white stuff vanishes.)
Ciao, amigo.
still in sunny lahore! yes, it is incredibly consistent (and boring). sums it up, really.
white is the winter light here, about after 2:30. Can't be more precise.
yes, looks like Heathrow is closed. must speak to them about that. Awfully inconsiderate of them.
cheerio,
b.
